At MUMA Manufacturas Muñoz, we are committed to meeting our clients’ needs and expectations through a constant development of our human talent, through innovation in our products and productivity, achieving a high market share in both the domestic and exports markets, in order to maintain a sustainable growth rate and to generate value for our shareholders and for the business as a whole. MUMA Manufacturas Muñoz was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003, and recently renewed it with the following scope: Design, manufacturing, marketing and installation of chairs, furniture and their parts, for collective and office use.
Our quality system is based on properly executed work, adopting a quality-based culture that will allow us to strive to constantly improve our internal processes. The company renewed its certificate in March, 2007.

LABORATORY AND QUALITY TESTING
At MUMA Manufacturas Muñoz, we have an in-house specialized Quality Laboratory, in which all our products are subjected to the most demanding tests in accordance with domestic and international technical norms, in order to guarantee an excellent level of quality in the products delivered to our clients. In our lab, and jointly with the our suppliers’ and strategic partners’ labs, we carry out the following tests to both supplies as well as finished products:
- Back-rest Strength Tests. - Reclining Mechanism Tests.- Durability Tests on Seats. - Stability Tests. - Durability Tests on Arm-Rests. - Durability Tests on Back-Rest. - Strength Tests on Legs. - Durability Tests on Bases with Wheels.- Durability Tests on Foot-Rest.
As an additional certification of quality, the company has acquired a product-testing machine in order to carry out dynamic and static tests based on domestic and international norms, which clearly sets us apart from other furniture manufactures who only have the certifications from their parts vendors.
